Celebrating 20 Years of Japanese Cinema and Culture

Since its inception in 2003 as the Chanoma Film Festival, JFFLA has been dedicated to showcasing the richness of Japanese culture through the art of cinema. Originally focusing on heartwarming films that depict everyday life in Japanese families, the festival has evolved to present a diverse array of films that reflect the multifaceted nature of Japanese society.
